All i can offer, is my personal opinion. I have travelled all the way around the Australian coastline, taking 11 months to do so. Yes, i stayed at Warroora for quite a few weeks. I have not come across any other stretch of 100km of tropical reef coastline that is more pristine and less impacted by human development. But perhaps you have, and i'd be glad to hear about it.

The pastoralists have kept the coastal land undeveloped and in pristine condition compared with every other stretch of tropical coastline in Australia. Hence the pastoralists argue that the best protection for the coastline, is to leave it under their care and to draw the heritage area boundary at or near the high tide mark.

????????

Who wrote this statement and have they been to Warroora? This whole coast has been ravaged by sheep and a regiem of killing off natural vegetation to grow buffel grass. the coastline has seriously eroded with sand dune blow outs. Bring on proper management I say.......the Local
